Amber Ale

Our Alt Bier/Amber Ale has a malty, biscuit-like base with caramel flavors that linger on your taste buds from the first sip to the last. “Alt” means “made in the old way”-- with a medium level of bitterness combined with low esters, and an earthy hop presence that counter-balances the sweetness.

A 6.2% ABV and moderate carbonation level combined with a full mouth feel deliver a smooth and enjoyable drinking experience. Hidden in the amber hues and vibrant red highlights is a hint of roasted nuts. A slightly dry finish keeps the sweetness in check.

The cool fermentation and aging temperature is the secret to bringing the roasted malt characteristics of the German Vienna, and Munich malt to the fore, while maintaining a presence of the Noble hops.

Agave Wheat

Agave nectar provides the luxuriously sweet characteristics of the agave plant which is combined with the refreshing, light flavors of wheat malt. The result is an incredibly smooth brew with notes of butterscotch lingering behind the sweetness of the agave. Following tradition, it is lightly hopped with Hallertau and Cascade hops, giving it floral overtones with low bitterness and slight citrus aroma.

Brewed carefully to ensure the bread-like taste of the wheat and fermented under strict parameters to enhance the flavors, this uniquely refreshing beer is perfect any fiesta throughout the year.

Chipotle India Pale Ale

A robust, hoppy and slightly smokey, India Pale Ale with a touch of liquid flame provided by chipotle peppers that give it just enough heat to warm your senses and make you want another.

You’ll feel as though the British arrived on elephants in Mexico, and invented a beer strong enough to stay fresh in the heat of Mexicali.

You’ve never tasted an IPA this hot, this good.

Aztec Eclipse

This unique stout pours black as the night to produce a frothy light tan head that collapses slowly, trailing a corona of lace that eclipses the rim of your glass. Floral hop additions combined with cocoa nibs contribute a pleasing bitterness in the background with a mysteriously and intriguing taste. The sweetness of molasses and chocolate perform a delicate balancing act with the bitterness of the hops.

Nearly opaque black, the light body allows a ruby red light to shine through when passing in front of a light source. A very approachable dark beer with a perfect balance of aroma, sweetness, and bitterness swirled into one smooth, rich drinking experience.

El Dorado

Our first and lightest product is a golden ale, brewed within the style parameters known as Kolsch. Using English 2-row barley, and floral Cascade and Williamette hops, the Aztec version of this rich golden beer contains a small amount of fermentable wheat that creates a foamy head with staying power and a nourishing bready flavor.

The ABV of this beer is 4.5%, making it refreshing and drinkable without being overly filling. This smooth, easily approachable beer carves a golden pathway into the world of craft beer for mass market of beer drinkers. The hybrid yeast provides a quick turnover of the finished beer without the sensitive temperature restrictions or long aging periods required by lager yeast. The resulting beer is smooth and silky like a lager – but produced in half the time. The initial malty sweetness in this blond beauty gives way to a subdued floral hop character.

Aztec Sacrifice

A blood red ale, bold and worthy of an offering to any deity, this flavorful double red ale will surely flow all night. Caramel sweetness from a no-holds-barred addition of red crystal malt, combined with intense dry-hopping give this beer a full-body, balanced with fragrant floral hop contributions.

A robust beige head and velvety mouth feel give way to a hint of pine resin with a floral character that emanates in remarkable smoothness with soothing alcohol warmth and long bitter finish.
