Noche de los Muertos
- Imperial Stout with Cinnamon
- ABV: 10.2% alcohol by volume
- IBU: 64
Bronze 2013 at the San Diego International Beer Festival
An intense Imperial Stout with a hint of cinnamon spice. Big, rich and black as night. Dark roasted malts add complex character to the flavors, dark roast and nut, slight caramel with a balanced bitterness and mouth feel. Earthiness/spice from the hops and cinnamon.
Suggested Food Pairings
Pairs well with rich spicy foods such as moles and Szechwan dishes, Beef, Chicken, Oysters. An excellent complement to dark chocolate and coffee desserts. Serve with cheeses like Gouda, Parmesan or cheddar.
